It’s an epidemic. Somwhere Edward Tufte is stabbing a kitten with a unicorn becuase of the proliferation of visual junk. It takes a lot of thought, skill, and editing to create a smart infographic. Even good infographics out of context can be bad. Now anyone can make an infographic if they have a dataset.
What do you all think? Is this a time saver or scourge of visual pollution?
